ENRICH

ENRICH

An ablative treatment that uses microscopic radio frequency energy to stimulate collagen production and tightening of the skin for a youthful and smooth resurfacing.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Immediately after treatment (first 24 hours):

  • Your skin will feel hot, similar to a moderate-to-severe sunburn.

  • It will look red, possibly very red, and slightly swollen in treated areas.

  • Mild pinpoint bleeding may occur, depending on the intensity of your treatment.

  • Your skin may feel tight, dry, or rough.

Days 1–3:

  • Redness usually persists; swelling often peaks in the first 24–48 hours and then starts to subside.

  • Your skin will feel dry, tight, and may darken slightly as it begins to heal.

  • A bronzed, sandpaper-like texture often appears as tiny pixel dots where the laser created micro-injuries.

Days 3–5:

  • The bronzed skin will begin to flake and peel away naturally — this is part of your skin’s renewal process.

  • Avoid picking or rubbing your skin to reduce the risk of scarring or hyperpigmentation.

Days 5–7:

  • Most redness and peeling resolve.

  • New, smoother, fresher-looking skin starts to appear, which may still look pink and feel sensitive.

Weeks 2–4:

  • Skin tone continues to even out; redness and sensitivity gradually fade.

  • Collagen remodeling continues under the surface, so skin texture, firmness, and tone can keep improving over several weeks to months.

AFTERCARE:

  • Gently cleanse with a mild cleanser as instructed by your provider.

  • Apply a gentle, hydrating moisturizer or occlusive (like Aquaphor) to keep skin protected and comfortable.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 7–10 days, and ideally longer.

  • Do NOT pick, scratch, or scrub your skin, even if you notice bronzed, sandpaper-like texture or peeling — this is part of normal healing.

  • Avoid using retinoids, acids (AHA/BHA), scrubs, or other active or harsh products until your provider clears you to resume.

  • Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise for about 48–72 hours (or as directed).

  • Excessive heat can increase swelling and prolong redness.

  • Use a clean, cold compress if swelling feels uncomfortable in the first 24 hours.

  • Sleep with your head slightly elevated the first night or two to help reduce swelling.

  • Avoid makeup for 3 to 5 days following treatment depending on peeling

Q: How long will the redness last?
A: Redness typically peaks in the first 24–48 hours and gradually fades over 3–5 days. Some pinkness can linger for up to a week (sometimes longer if you had a deeper treatment).

Q: Will my skin peel or flake?
A: Yes — most people develop a bronzed, dry, sandpaper-like texture starting around days 2–3, followed by light peeling or flaking. This is normal as your skin renews. Avoid picking to prevent scarring or dark spots.

Q: When can I wear makeup again?
A: Usually after 3–5 days, once peeling has subsided and skin is intact — but always check with your provider first. When you do, use clean brushes/sponges and gentle, non-irritating products.

Q: Is swelling normal?
A: Mild swelling, especially around the eyes or in treated areas, is normal for the first 24–48 hours. Using cold compresses and sleeping with your head elevated can help.

Q: When will I see results?
A: Some people notice smoother, brighter skin within a week. Improvements in texture, tone, and firmness continue over the next 4–12 weeks as collagen rebuilds.
