LASER HAIR REMOVAL
LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to target and damage the hair follicles, essentially inhibiting future hair growth by heating them up, resulting in a significant reduction of unwanted body hair
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Immediately after treatment (first few hours):
The treated area may look slightly pink or red, similar to a mild sunburn.
You might feel warmth, tingling, or mild sensitivity.
Slight swelling around individual hair follicles (small “goosebump”-like bumps) is common and usually fades within a few hours to a day.
Days 1–3:
Redness and swelling should continue to fade.
The treated skin may feel slightly dry, tight, or mildly itchy.
Some people experience light flaking — this is normal and temporary.
Days 3–7:
You may notice what looks like new hair growth — these are actually treated hairs being pushed out of the follicle.
These hairs will usually shed on their own over the next 1–3 weeks.
Avoid plucking or waxing; gentle exfoliation (after 3–5 days) can help hairs shed more easily.
AFTERCARE:
• Avoid sun exposure and use SPF 30+ daily.
• No hot showers, saunas, or exercise for 24-48 hours.
• Do not wax, pluck, or thread between treatments.
• Avoid scented lotions or exfoliants on the treated area for 3 days.
Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: Most clients require 6-8 sessions for optimal results.
Q: Is there downtime?
A: No downtime, but mild redness or swelling may occur.
Q: Can I shave between treatments?
A: Yes, shaving is allowed and encouraged.
