MICRO VEIN TREATMENT

MICRO VEIN TREATMENT

Laser technology to erase visable vascular facial and body veins.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Immediately after treatment (first few hours):

  • The treated area may look slightly red, pink, or feel warm — similar to a mild sunburn.

  • You might notice mild swelling or a tingling sensation, which usually subsides within a few hours.

  • Occasionally, the targeted veins can appear darker, grey, or even slightly bruised before fading.

Days 1–3:

  • Redness and swelling typically diminish.

  • Treated veins may look temporarily more visible, darker, or feel slightly raised — this is a normal part of the healing process as the body begins to reabsorb them.

  • Mild bruising or sensitivity in the area may also occur.

Days 3–7:

  • The veins gradually lighten and start to fade away.

  • Skin tone becomes more even, and redness usually resolves completely.

  • Any bruising should fade as your skin heals.

Weeks 2–4:

  • Continued fading of treated veins.

  • Your skin should look clearer and more uniform in tone.

  • Some stubborn or larger veins may require additional sessions for best results.

AFTERCARE:

  • Avoid direct sun exposure on the treated area for at least 1–2 weeks.

  • Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily, even when it’s cloudy.

  • Avoid rubbing, scratching, or massaging the area for several days.

  • Cleanse with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser.

  • Apply a gentle moisturizer as recommended by your provider.

  • Avoid hot showers, steam rooms, saunas, and intense workouts for 48hrs

  • Keep the treated skin cool to help reduce swelling and redness

  • Avoid retinoids, scrubs, exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA), and other strong actives for about 3–5 days or as directed by your provider.

COMMON QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:

Q: What will the treated veins look like right after my appointment?
A: Right after treatment, the veins may appear darker, grey, or slightly bruised — this is normal and temporary. Redness or mild swelling around the area can also occur and usually fades within a few hours to a couple of days.

Q: How long does it take for the veins to fade?
A: Treated veins typically start to fade over the next 2–4 weeks as your body reabsorbs them. Some veins lighten quickly, while others may take a bit longer or require additional sessions.

Q: Will I need more than one treatment?
A: Depending on the number, size, and depth of your veins, you may need multiple sessions to achieve your desired result. Your provider will help create a treatment plan customized for you.

Q: Is there downtime after the treatment?
A: Downtime is minimal. Most clients return to normal activities the same day, but it’s best to avoid hot showers, exercise, and direct sun exposure for the first 24–48 hours.

Q: When can I wear makeup again?
A: You can usually wear makeup after 24 hours, once redness and warmth have subsided. Use gentle, non-irritating products and always apply SPF.

Q: Are the results permanent?
A: The treated veins won’t return, but new veins may appear over time due to genetics, lifestyle, or other factors. Maintenance treatments can help keep your skin clear.
