PURE LIFT
PURE LIFT
A combination of dermaplaning, our brightening and tightening PURE LIFT laser treatment, and service finish with our trio system for a glass finish.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Immediately after treatment (first few hours):
Your skin may look pink to moderately red, similar to a fresh sunburn.
You may feel warmth, tingling, or tightness — this is normal, especially after dermaplaning, which removes the top layer of dead skin and fine hair, making skin temporarily more sensitive.
Treated pigmented areas or melasma patches may look slightly darker as the pigment rises to the surface.
Days 1–2:
Redness typically starts to fade within 24–48 hours.
Your skin might feel tight, dry, or slightly rough.
Pigmented spots or melasma patches can continue to look darker for a short period before gradually fading.
Days 3–5:
Mild flaking or light peeling may occur as your skin naturally renews.
Pigmented spots that darkened may gently slough off, revealing clearer and more even-toned skin underneath.
Overall, your complexion may begin to look brighter and smoother.
Days 5–7:
Any remaining dryness or flaking usually resolves.
Skin should look and feel more radiant, hydrated, and refreshed thanks to the PCA Oxygenating Trio, which supports skin healing and glow.
Continued improvement in tone, texture, and overall clarity as collagen remodeling progresses.
Weeks 2–4:
Pigmentation and melasma may keep gradually fading.
Skin may feel firmer, more elastic, and appear brighter and healthier as your collagen continues to rebuild.
AFTERCARE:
Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 1–2 weeks after treatment.
Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily, even when indoors or on cloudy days.
Some mild flaking or dryness is normal — do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate manually, as this can irritate your skin or cause hyperpigmentation.
Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA), scrubs, and other active products for at least 3–5 days, or until your provider says it’s safe.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and intense workouts for a few days following treatment
Keep the treated area cool to help reduce redness and swelling.
Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
Avoid harsh environments like chlorinated pools or very windy weather for a few days
Use a mild, fragrance-free cleanser for the next few days.
Avoid hot water; instead, use cool or lukewarm water when cleansing.
COMMON QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:
Q: What will my skin look like right after treatment?
A: Your skin may appear pink to moderately red, similar to a mild sunburn, and could feel warm or tight. Pigmented spots or melasma patches may temporarily darken as pigment rises to the surface. Overall, your skin will look freshly exfoliated and may feel very smooth.
Q: Is there downtime?
A: Downtime is typically minimal. You may experience temporary redness, mild swelling, and light flaking or peeling over the next several days. Most people return to normal activities right away but should avoid heat, sweat, and sun for the first 24–48 hours
Q: Do pigmented spots always darken first?
A: Yes — this is normal and expected. Spots may look darker or “peppery” for several days before they naturally flake or fade, revealing clearer skin beneath.
Q: Can I wear makeup after treatment?
A: Wait at least 24 hours, or until redness and warmth subside. Use gentle, non-irritating products and always finish with sunscreen.
Q: What should I avoid after treatment?
A: Skip hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise, and direct sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Avoid active skincare products like retinoids, acids, and scrubs for about 3–5 days.
