RESTORE SKIN

RESTORE SKIN

A laser treatment focused on the restoration of skin quality and laxity for advanced aging skin.

Immediately after treatment (first few hours):

  • Your skin may appear mildly pink or flushed, similar to a light sunburn.

  • You might feel gentle warmth, tingling, or tightness in the treated area.

  • Most clients describe this as mild and it typically settles within a few hours.

Days 1–2:

  • Mild redness or a “rosy glow” can linger but usually fades quickly.

  • Your skin might feel tighter or slightly dry as collagen renewal begins.

  • You may notice tiny grid-like marks or slight roughness that typically fades within a few days.

Days 3–5:

  • Skin can feel a bit rough or sandpapery to the touch as micro-exfoliation occurs.

  • Light flaking or mild peeling may happen, revealing fresher, smoother skin underneath.

  • Any grid pattern from fractional resurfacing should soften and blend into your natural skin tone.

Days 5–7:

  • Flaking or roughness usually resolves.

  • Your skin may look more radiant, refreshed, and smoother.

  • Subtle improvements in tone and texture may become noticeable.

Weeks 2–6:

  • Collagen production continues under the surface, leading to gradually firmer, plumper, and healthier-looking skin.

  • You may notice ongoing improvement in skin tightness, texture, and fine lines as your skin remodels itself from within.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

AFTERCARE:

  • Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 1–2 weeks after treatment.

  • Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily, even on cloudy days or indoors near windows.

  • For the first 24 to 48 hours avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise to reduce redness and swelling.

  • Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA), vitamin C serums, and scrubs for about 3–5 days, or until your provider advises it’s safe.

  • You may notice mild flaking, dryness, or a slightly rough texture. Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate manually — let your skin shed naturally.

  • Drink plenty of water to help your skin stay supple and aid in collagen renewal.

  • Get adequate sleep to support your skin’s natural repair process.

COMMON QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:

Q: What will my skin look like right after the treatment?
A: Your skin may look pink or lightly flushed, similar to a mild sunburn, and feel warm or tight. This usually fades within a few hours to a day. You might notice tiny grid-like marks or slight roughness for a few days.

Q: Is there downtime?
A: Downtime is minimal. You can usually return to daily activities right away, but your skin might feel dry, tight, or slightly rough for several days. Mild flaking or light peeling is also normal.

Q: When will I see results?
A: Many clients notice softer, smoother, and more radiant skin within the first week. The full results build gradually over several weeks to months as new collagen forms, leading to firmer and healthier-looking skin.

Q: What should I avoid after treatment?
A: Avoid direct sun exposure, hot showers, steam rooms, saunas, and heavy workouts for 24–48 hours. Pause retinoids, acids, and other active skincare products for about 3–5 days.

Q: Can I wear makeup?
A: It’s best to wait at least 24 hours, or until redness subsides. Use gentle, non-irritating makeup products and always apply sunscreen afterward.
